Memphis are Gary Johnstone(pictured below) and Owen T Muir.
They are two of the busiest musicians in Scotland. So busy in fact that they
rarely have time to play a gig together.
Seeing these two versatile musicians together is worth the wait. Covering a string
of hits including "Summer of 69","Great Balls of Fire" and "Rockin' all Over the World", these guys aim to please the widest
array of music fans in every popular genre.
At just 24 years old they certainly give more mature bands a run for their money with their professional
attitude and love of music.
With the aid of modern backing tracks, this exciting duo can entertain and impress in even the smallest
of venues. But make no mistake, Gary and Owen certainly know how to handle a big stage with floor-filling classics such
as "Brown Eyed Girl", "All Right Now" and "I'm a believer".
The most exciting aspect of Memphis, however, is their amazing musical ability. Owen's love
of 50s rock and roll (Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis) has made him into one of the area's most exciting and entertaining piano players.
When you add Gary's passion for the guitar and his unique ability to distribute either a tear-jerking blue note or a face
melting, rip roaring guitar solo, you can do nothing but sit back and enjoy the ride.
